Ajmal Kasab, the only terrorist caught alive during the 26/11 attacks on Mumbai in 2008, was hanged at the Yerawada Jail in Pune at 7.30 am on November 21. His mercy plea had been rejected by President Pranab Mukherjee on November 5.
